2. Notes
the wallet: hidden balances, kept by one signature
A note is a hidden balance of ETH and SESSION in the Server. Its secret is derived from one signature of your wallet and from things the chain makes unique (the nonce of the deposit, the nullifier of the note spent), so the chain and that signature are enough to rebuild every note you have. The key stays in this tab and is sent nowhere.

2.1.Connect
Any wallet that injects an Ethereum provider (EIP-1193), such as MetaMask. The page asks for an address and a network, and never for a key or a seed phrase. Notes need an ordinary wallet: a contract or passkey wallet signs differently each time, so its notes could not be found again.
2.2.Open Your Notes
Your wallet signs one fixed message, naming this chain and this Server. The signature is hashed into a master key. Sign that message on this site only: whoever holds the signature could spend your notes into trades, though never withdraw them anywhere but to you.
2.3.Deposit
A deposit is public: who, how much, when. It becomes a note whose tag is your address, written by the contract, so it can only ever be withdrawn to you. A round amount, and some time before you spend it, make it harder to point at.
2.4.Your Notes
Each note with what it holds and the cover it has earned while hidden, read against the Server's accumulator now. Cover is settled into a note's change the next time it is spent.

2.5.Withdraw
A withdrawal is a proof that pays a note out, and only to its tag: the address that made the deposit it descends from. The circuit refuses any other destination. Withdrawing all of a note pays its cover too.
2.6.Recovery
Your wallet is the backup. Opening your notes on any device reads the chain with the secrets your signature derives: deposits by their blind, change by replaying each spend from its transaction, and sessions by their owner commitment, home again when they close. Nothing about a note is kept anywhere but the chain.
